We admit, it was a Derren Brown video that first got us, one of those ones where he hypnotizes a ‘stranger’ at a phone booth or gets away with paying with paper. We decided that there might be something in this whole hypnosis thing, so we decided to have a look around. There were one or two mildly helpful sites on the web, and by reading them and watching YouTube videos we managed to pick up a few tricks, but we could hardly get anything we tried to work for us. By then we had long realized that hypnosis is much more than a few cheap party tricks, and we were really excited by all the possibilities that learning this great art has for us (still are actually). The trouble was, we were seeing these people on YouTube do all these great and amazing things, and we wanted to know how they did it! There were a few online courses which promised to teach this of course, they were darn expensive but often very helpful, but it was still really hard to convert our theoretical knowledge into practical skills that we could easily and confidently use whenever and wherever we wanted. We started getting in touch with some pretty spectacular hypnotists, and we were fortunate enough that many of today’s leading and best hypnotists were willing to give up the time to help these confused teenagers who sent them an email. We finally started really using what we learned properly, and was beginning to see some pretty spectacular successes. (Dropping our first volunteer with an instant induction and seeing him respond perfectly to our suggestions in front of half the school (ok, it seemed like half the school at the time!), seeing our positive suggestions radically improve the lives of many of our friends, seeing the people around us just become happier and more successful, leaving Nathan's first street hypnosis subject staring in wonder at her twelve fingers :D Of course there were certainly a lot of upsets, mistakes and things which didn’t go as planned, where nothing that we tried seemed to work (often in front of about 30 odd people, arrg!), but you learn from these moments, and as time goes by, they get fewer and fewer. For us the journey from “hmmm, this hypnosis thing seems pretty cool” to being able to confidently hypnotize anyone, anywhere took far too long.We have communicated with countless teenage hypnotists who all faced the same issues, and many of whom had been stuck in the “it just doesn’t work for me!” stage for years, but don’t have the money, parental support, luck or what have you to go any further. We receive almost daily messages from teenagers who have seen Our hypnosis videos, and want to learn how to do it, many of whom have been trying for months and have gotten nowhere. Through Our Blogs and Yahoo/Google groups We have done Our best to help out, and have definitely seen a number of wonderful success stories, but there is definitely a need for something more. It amazes me that if you want to learn something as, dare I say it, ‘chronically boring’ as Algebra or Trigonometry there are 5 schools within walking distance, but if you as a teenager are adventurous, curious and open minded enough to want to learn hypnosis, perhaps the most powerful method of therapy and of course entertainment there is, there is no one out there who genuinely wanted to help you, no where you could call home.We were fortunate to have both become accomplished hypnotists with the same passion and love for all things hypnotic, and also sharing in the enthusiasm to teach others. We’d both developed the habit of tracking down the world’s best hypnotists, demanding their contact details and learning as much as we can from them, and we both believe strongly in learning hypnosis as broadly as possible. We like to focus on the entire hypnotic spectrum; stage hypnosis, clinical hypnosis (direct and indirect,) NLP and even conversational and covert hypnosis. In our hypnotic journey we had both learned that hypnosis should always be used as a force for good, to change people’s lives for the better. We also learned how to have great fun with hypnosis, and to amaze and astound a crowd with the incredible power of the mind. We started looking for a way to solve the problems that stopped today’s teenage hypnotists from really succeeding. Our goal is that if an ordinary (or extra ordinary) teenager like yourself wants to learn how to actually use hypnosis, how to be a hypnotist, they would be able to do so easily, without having to spend countless hours digging, searching and trying to piece together the scraps of information that are available. We want teenagers to have access to good, solid hypnosis training. We spoke to many of the top hypnotists that we know, and decided that the best way to revolutionize the world of teenage hypnosis was to do just that! So together We, two ambitious teenage hypnotists, decided to create the International Association Of Teenage Hypnotists (IATH). The way it works is that when you join you get access to an organized and structured hypnosis learning environment. You’ll be able to interact with other teenage hypnotists from all around the world, gain exclusive access to the audio and visual lessons, strictly for members only, and be able to talk to Us directly, and ask whatever questions that you want. As we know the horrors of asking teenagers for money, membership to the IATH is 100% free. So to quickly and easily become a spectacular teenage hypnotist click here to join now, or for a full list of what features and benefits you get as a member, click here. We look forward to seeing you on the inside!
